Pros: Invigorating performance and handling; surprisingly good fuel economy for a high-end sporty car; impressive cabin design and assembly quality
Cons: Traditional manual transmission is unavailable; no rear seat in convertible and cramped rear seat in coupe; limited cargo room
CG Says: Familiar it may be, but there’s still nothing else quite like Audi’s baby sports car. We think of it as the next best thing to a mid-engine Porsche Boxster and Cayman. Any TT offers similar “bred for the Autobahn” driving satisfaction, plus somewhat greater practicality, for far less money than the Porsche. Standard all-wheel drive is an added bonus. We think the TTS is the best balance between value and driving fun, but be careful with options on any model, as delivered prices soar with even a few goodies added.
