2016 Nissan Pathfinder

Pros: Competitive pricing; user-friendly audio and climate controls; comfortable ride, especially in highway cruising

Cons: Higher noise levels than many class competitors; 3rd-row seating is sized for kids; some unexceptional interior materials

CG Says: Nissan Pathfinder has few changes for 2016. A Cold Package that includes heated steering wheel and heated cloth front seats is newly optional on SV. The SL now has a standard heated steering wheel. The Pathfinder offers smooth power, excellent cargo flexibility, and lots of features at reasonable-for-the-class prices. Its main letdowns are a somewhat raucous engine and real-world fuel economy that disappoints versus its excellent EPA estimates.
