2017 A5

CG Says: The 2017 Audi A5 gains more standard equipment. Rearview camera, rear-obstacle-detection system, and three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel are now standard on all models. The A5 is basically a 2-door luxury car with a sporty edge. Though its turbocharged 4-cylinder engine isn’t the fastest mill out there, it still can provide an invigorating driving experience. More invigorating is the S5 with a 333 supercharged V6. A5 won’t give the Porsche Boxster or Cayman a run for their money, but it’s still a luxurious and dynamically capable car. If you’re shopping the BMW 2-Series, Cadillac ATS coupe, or the Infiniti Q60 Coupe or Q60 Convertible, put the A5 on your list.
