2014 SRX

2016 Cadillac SRX

Pros: Bold, expressive styling inside and out; nicely finished interior with high-end materials; smooth, peppy powertrain

Cons: Not all drivers like CUE touchscreen interface; small rear window compromises visibility; top-end models get pricey

2016 SRX

CG Says: The 2016 Cadillac SRX is unchanged for its final year. A 2017 XT5 will replace SRX as Cadillac’s midsize crossover SUV. The SRX earns our kudos for its combination of performance, functionality, and style. The sporty, refined, and fuel-efficient V6 provides ample power, and the fashion-forward styling is dazzling inside and out. Not all of our testers like Cadillac’s CUE touchscreen interface, however—some find it unresponsive and slow to react. Note too that loaded SRXs get pricey. Seek a modestly equipped Luxury model for the optimal blend of creature comforts and dollar value
