2021 Chevrolet Spark

Pros: City-friendly minicar dimensions; maneuverability; connectivity/infotainment features

Cons: Limited cargo room

CG Says: The 2021 Chevrolet Spark is unchanged. Spark is Chevrolet’s smallest subcompact. The petite 4-door hatchback has seating for four. Conventional LS and LT models are offered, along with an SUV-flavored Activ trim level that adds a 0.4 inch raised ride height, roof rails, and unique trim.  An Ecotec 1.4-liter 4-cylinder with 98 horsepower is the sole engine, and is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. The EPA estimates the Spark will achieve up to 38 mpg in highway driving. Low-speed automatic braking, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Spot Alert, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot are available features. The Chevrolet Spark is a solid competitor in its segment.
