Pros: Hushed cabin; bold looks and unique trim packages; smooth 8-speed transmission

CG Says: For 2015, Chrysler’s boldly styled large car gets a minor exterior facelift (highlighted by a larger grille) and an updated interior that includes a new three-spoke steering wheel, full-color 7-inch driver information display screen, and electronic rotary-knob transmission gear selector for the standard 8-speed automatic. New-for-2015 safety features include Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus with Full Stop, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, and 9-1-1 Call/Assist Call functionality. The high-performance SRT8 model is discontinued, and all-wheel drive is now available on V6 models only. The Chrysler 300 exudes American style; it pairs distinctive exterior styling with a satisfyingly upscale cabin. Both the V6 and V8 engines deliver smooth performance with surprisingly good fuel economy. Rear-seat room is a sore spot, and we have a few niggling issues with the climate/audio control interface. Still, the 300 is a classy large sedan that delivers a refined driving experience.
