2014 Maxima
CG Says: For the 2014 Nissan Maxima, a rearview camera, USB port, and 7-inch dashboard display screen become standard on the Maxima 3.5 SV model (they were optional previously). The base 3.5 S version receives a Value Package option that includes xenon headlights with smoked glass, unique wheels, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and other exterior trim. This sedan tries to be a sportier, more-luxurious alternative to the Altima, yet it doesn’t quite live up to that promise. Yes, it’s quick and reasonably comfortable, but Maxima’s driving dynamics are not significantly better than its mainstream, yet in many ways superior, sibling. If Altima were not available with a V6 engine, Maxima’s price premium would be easier to justify.
