2014 Nissan Cube

Pros: Surprisingly comfortable ride for a small vehicle; outstanding passenger space, particularly headroom; expansive cargo room for the size

Cons: Middling acceleration; high overall noise levels; exterior and interior styling are too peculiar for some shoppers; rear seat backs don’t fold flat

CG Says: Nissan’s unusual Cube is carried over virtually unchanged for 2014. Cube packs a lot of features and practicality into a small space. Its styling won’t appeal to everyone, but look beyond this, and you’ll find a reasonably priced and fun-to-drive little wagon. If you think the Kia Soul and Scion xB are too commonplace, the Cube might just be the ride you’re looking for.
