2015 tC

2016 Scion tC

Pros: Affordable pricing; surprisingly decent rear-seat room for a sporty coupe; lots of available accessories for personalization

Cons: Doesn’t feel quite as nimble or sporty as the looks promise; middling interior materials; noisy engine provides only so-so acceleration

CG Says: The 2016 Scion tC gains newly standard rearview camera, keyless access and entry, and rear wiper. The interior is revised and has a new audio system that includes a 7-inch touchscreen. The Scion tC is unusually practical for a small sporty coupe, with good interior room and usable cargo space. Pricing is especially competitive too. However, the noisy cabin and merely pleasant (rather than truly sporty) handling are a bit disappointing. The tC is worth consideration for shoppers looking at small coupes, but it’s no longer the class standout it once was.
