2017 Toyota Sienna

2015 Toyota Sienna

Pros: Availability of class-exclusive all-wheel drive; solid driving dynamics; broad range of trim levels and option packages

Cons: Higher-end models get expensive; less outright cargo volume than most class competitors

CG Says: For 2015, Toyota’s minivan receives a through freshening that includes minor exterior styling updates, upgraded interior, improved sound insulation, and new technology features. New safety features include integrated blind-spot mirrors, a standard back-up camera on all models, a passenger seat cushion airbag (Sienna now has a class-leading 8 airbags in all), and an additional LATCH anchor in the third-row seat (for a total of four—two in the second row and two in the third). Sienna stands out from the minivan pack by being the only one to offer all-wheel drive. It can’t match Chrysler’s Stow ‘n Go fold-flush 2nd-row seats or Honda’s overall refinement, but this Toyota compensates with terrific interior comfort and cargo flexibility. Sienna is well worth your time and consideration.
