Amazingly, well maintain Bandits in good working order have been known to command as much as $30,000, with “project” examples trading for as little as $1000. Should you purchase one yourself, be sure to refer to it exclusively as The Bandit, and to work it into conversation as much as you possibly can. Or, you can just buy a beater Rabbit and call it Harvey.

Per one source, the Comuta-Car was the best-selling U.S.-market electric car after WW II until the Tesla Model S came along in 2012. While that may sound like a noteworthy accomplishment by the car’s maker, Commuter Cars, Inc, of Sebring, Florida, the Comuta-Car never actually sold especially well. It did sell well enough, though just hardly, to be remembered.
