After dwindling sales and discontinuing the base trim level, the Toyota Highlander returns as an all-new vehicle for 2027, and, spoiler alert, it’s electric only. This is the fourth all-electric vehicle in the Toyota lineup, and the automaker’s first three-row EV. We got a sneak peek at the 2027 Toyota Highlander, and here are the five big things to know about it.

Lucid’s presence in Chicago highlights how it is expanding its offerings in terms of new and used vehicles, as well as charging convenience with the capability of using Tesla’s stations. The Gravity provides a much-needed SUV, and its specs suggest it will be competitive right out of the gate. The Air continues to stand out for its long-range capability, and the Recharged CPO program should help broaden the brand’s appeal by lowering the cost of entry.

First seen at the 1994 Chicago Auto Show, the Plymouth Expresso was a compact concept built on a heavily modified and shortened version of the brand’s Neon small-car architecture. It was roughly two feet shorter in length but about 15 inches taller than a production Neon—giving it a high, boxy, upright silhouette with a bubble-like profile.
