The hosts welcome Jerry Perez of The Drive to the show. Jerry shared details of his time in the updated Audi Q3 featuring the maker’s Micro LED Digital Matrix Headlights. Jerry also recalls his time in one of Europe’s smallest—and most charming—electric vehicles, the Fiat Topolino. 

So sure, the GTI has packed on a few pounds over the years, but it's mostly lean muscle. And if you’re shopping for a daily driver that is as good for your soul as it is for your commute, you need to add the GTI to your test-drive list.

Lexus launched the brand in the U.S. 1n 1989 with two models, the full-size LS sedan, and the smaller ES 250. But it was the LS that shaped consumers’ opinion of the brand, directly challenging Mercedes-Benz with a car that was better equipped, less expensive, and arguably of better quality than the German maker’s venerated S-Class sedan.

Despite considerable social-media pushback, GM is moving ahead with plans to drop CarPlay from its electric-vehicle offerings, as well as Android Auto. Android Auto, which seems to enjoy considerably less consumer affection.

Paul and Tom welcome Bart Sowa of GTI Energy to the show. Bart talks about fuel-cell technology, and how hydrogen-power is viable option for large over-the-road trucks. Bart also shares his thoughts on the future of hydrogen as a transportation fuel in the U.S.
