Pros: High-end interior trimmings; invigorating performance, especially with 650 models and M6; broad range of optional equipment and appearance features
Cons: Cramped rear-seat room, even in 4-door Gran Coupe models; high-performance models ride somewhat stiffly; low seating position compromises visibility somewhat
CG Says: The 6 Series Gran Coupe fills the niche between BMW’s 5 Series and 7 Series sedans. We think it does this quite well, delivering the luxury and performance BMW customers demand. And don’t forget the 6 Series’ available 2-door coupe and convertible versions. Base prices are steep and the options list contains many expensive extras that can push the bottom line higher still. Regardless, for those who can afford one, the 6 Series will almost certainly delight.
