2014 Spark EV
CG Says: In the realm of electric cars, the Spark EV comes off as quite a bargain. Performance is better than that of other vehicles near its price, driving range is competitive, and the level of standard equipment is generous. Initial prices put it at less than $20,000 after the $7,500 federal tax incentive, and Chevrolet is also offering an attractive lease of $199/month with $999 down. Too bad none of this matters to those outside California and Oregon—those are the only two states where Chevrolet is selling the Spark EV, at least for now.
