Cons: Some touchscreen controls are complicated; Stow ‘n Go seats are a bit less comfortable than conventional second-row seats[/vc_column_text][mk_divider style=”padding_space” margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][vc_column_text]CG Says: The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica adds an enhanced cabin air filtration system and available Amazon Fire TV streaming functionality. Several new standard features have been added to the various trim levels. Chrysler replaced its aged Town & Country minivan with the all-new Pacifica for 2017. In 2020, Chrysler Pacifica spun off its entry-level L and and LX models to create a new Voyager line. (See our separate report for the Chrysler Voyager.) The aging Dodge Grand Caravan minivan was dropped for 2021. Conventional Pacificas are powered by a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available. A plug-in-hybrid version combines the V6 with two electric motors for a total of 260 horsepower; its official EPA estimates are 82 MPGe in combined city/highway driving and an all-electric driving range of up to 32 miles.

Pacifica’s class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go stowable second-row seats feature an Easy Tilt feature that makes third-row access easier. Max cargo volume checks in at a generous 140.5 cubic feet. Pacifica’s available features include a tri-pane panoramic sunroof; FamCAM wide-angle camera to monitor backseat passengers; Stow ‘n Vac integrated vacuum cleaner; and a dual-screen rear-seat Blu-ray/DVD entertainment system complete with a touchpad remote control and aux, USB, and HDMI jacks for each screen.

The Chrysler Pacifica is surprisingly stylish inside and out, its all-around dynamic performance is class-competitive, and its passenger and cargo versatility is top-notch. Also, the plug-in-hybrid model delivers excellent fuel efficiency and respectable pure-electric driving range, and the available all-wheel drive provides better all-weather capability (though AWD is not available on the hybrid). If you’re shopping for a family hauler, the Pacifica should be on your list.[/vc_column_text][mk_divider style=”padding_space” margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][mk_content_box heading=”The Facts”][mk_table el_class=”new-review-specs”]
