Pros: Invigorating performance and handling; surprisingly good fuel economy for a high-end sporty car; impressive cabin design and assembly quality
Cons: Traditional manual transmission is unavailable; no rear seat in convertible and cramped rear seat in coupe; limited cargo room
CG Says: Familiar though it may be, there’s still nothing else quite like Audi’s TT baby sports car. We think of the TT as the next best thing to a mid-engine Porsche Boxster and/or Cayman. Any Audi TT offers similar “bred for the Autobahn” driving satisfaction, plus somewhat greater practicality, for far less money than the Porsches. Standard all-wheel drive is a noteworthy added bonus. We think the TTS is the best balance between value and driving fun, but be careful with options on any model, as delivered prices soar with even a few goodies added.
