CG Says: The 2022 Audi A4 has few changes. The base models now offer Black Optic interior appearance packages and models with the more powerful TFSI 45 engine gain standard sport suspension. The S4 has minor interior trim changes.
The A4 is a premium compact sedan that was redesigned for 2017 and is powered by a turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The base engine has 201 horsepower and is labelled 40 TFSI. The step-up TFSI 45 engine puts out 261 hp. Both engines now have a mild hybrid system. All A4s have all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automated-manual is the sole transmission. The performance S4 is powered by a 349-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
