Pros: Hushed cabin; bold looks and unique trim packages; smooth 8-speed transmission on V6 models
Cons: Despite being astutely updated over the years, basic design feels a bit long in the tooth; fuel economy with SRT8 model; rear-seat room a bit cramped for the class
CG Says: Chrysler’s boldly styled large car sees no changes of note for 2014. The Chrysler 300 exudes American style. You can order one of these sedans like your favorite plate of Buffalo wings, with your choice of a comparatively mild V6, spicy 5.7-liter V8, or flaming-hot 6.4-liter V8. All are satisfying in their own way, with the former two powertrains delivering surprisingly good fuel economy. Rear-seat room is a sore spot, and we have a few niggling issues with the climate/audio control interface. Still, the 2014 Chrysler 300 is a classy large sedan that delivers a refined driving experience.
