2016 Nissan Pathfinder

Pros: Competitive pricing; user-friendly audio and climate controls; comfortable ride–especially in highway cruising

Cons: Higher noise levels than many class competitors; 3rd-row seating is sized for kids; some unexceptional interior materials compared to class leaders

CG Says: The Nissan Pathfinder sees few changes for the 2016 model year. A Cold Package that includes a heated steering wheel and heated cloth front seats is newly optional on SV trim level. The SL now has a standard heated steering wheel. The 2016 Pathfinder offers smooth power, excellent cargo flexibility, and lots of features at reasonable-for-the-class prices. Its main letdowns are a somewhat raucous engine, and real-world fuel economy that disappoints versus its excellent EPA estimates.
