Pros: Affordable pricing; surprisingly decent rear-seat room for a sporty coupe; lots of available accessories for personalization
Cons: Doesn’t feel quite as nimble or sporty as the looks promise; middling interior materials; noisy engine provides only so-so acceleration
2015 tC
CG Says: After a fairly thorough freshening for 2014, the 2015 Scion tC sees just one change of note: the addition of steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for models equipped with the automatic transmission. The Scion tC is unusually practical for a small sporty coupe, with good interior room and usable cargo space. Pricing is especially competitive too. However, the noisy cabin and merely pleasant (rather than truly sporty) handling are a bit disappointing. The tC is worth consideration for shoppers looking at small coupes, but it’s no longer the class standout it once was.
