Crossovers

A evolution of the popular SUV, the crossover represents a melding of truck-like cargo and passenger utility with car-type architecture. Crossovers are typically lighter and more fuel-efficient than SUVs, but generally lack the latter’s towing and off-road prowess. Almost every major maker now offers compact and midsize crossovers.
